The Wapakoneta Antique & Specialty Shops (WASS/WapakShops) offers four levels of membership to provide for the varying interests and needs of local businesses. Each member receives the benefits associated with their membership level as stated below as well as a WASS Member vinyl window decal to proudly display their association.
Friends of WASS: Membership is a one-time donation of $20 or more. You receive a copy of our e-newsletter, a "Friends of" listing on our website and mention in a "Thank You" publication once a year at Thanksgiving time.
Associate: Membership is a monthly fee of $20. You receive a listing on our Associate Members webpage that includes a picture of your business and your contact information and a copy of our e-newsletter.
Partner: Membership is a monthly fee of $40. You receive a dedicated page on our website including a link on our home page, advertising on our event flyers, the option to have a coupon on the "Coupon Central" page of our website, as well as the opportunity to join in our newspaper advertising, to participate in meetings and event planning and to hold an officer position.
Executive: This level of membership is for those businesses who wish to pursue opportunities above and beyond our established activities. Members at this level meet once or twice per year to choose additional marketing opportunities such as radio, television or group rate co-op advertising, and dues are set according to the additional cost of the chosen options.
Discounts: Members will receive a 10% discount when yearly dues (6 months for first time members) are paid in advance. Partner & Executive level members may take an additional five dollar discount for each monthly business meeting attended. The five dollar per month discount will be taken off the next year's dues for those who pay in advance.
When joining WASS for the first time a 6 month contract is required as well as 3 months dues in advance. After that and for all other members a 12 month contract is required and monthly payments are accepted.
